How long does it take to get to the casino?
From almost anywhere in Salt Lake City, it is a pleasant two-hour drive to Wendover. From the airport, it is about 20 minutes faster. Click here to see a Map.

What are your hours?
We are open 24 hours, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year.

Do I need hotel reservations?
We definitely recommend reservations. While Wendover generally has accommodations available mid-week, it is usually close to capacity on the weekends. If we're full, we will be happy to make a referral to one of the fine motels nearby. Call us toll free at (800) 848-7300 for reservations.

Is there a "real" golf course in town?
Yes. West Wendover's Toana Vista is a 6,820 yard, 18-hole course with a PGA teaching pro, a fully-stocked Pro Shop, a driving range, putting and chipping greens, some unique hard pan rough and a few surprising water hazards.  Discount golf passes are available for purchase at the Wendover Nugget Hotel desk.

Who owns the Wendover Nugget?
Generation 2000, from Southern Nevada.  The company also owns two other casino properties including the Pahrump Nugget and the Hacienda.

Can I fly into Wendover? Private Pilot Information
Yes and no. Wendover has a full-time fixed based operator capable of handling private planes up to, and including, commercial and military jet service. However, at this time, there are no regularly scheduled carriers offering service to Wendover.

Is there any place to swim in Wendover?
In addition to the large private pool at Wendover Nugget, West Wendover's Recreation District operates a public 50-meter pool in the summer. Blue Lake, just 12 miles south of town off Hwy. 93, is popular with beginning SCUBA divers due to its year-round water heated by geothermal wells.

What's that weird, "tree-like" structure that looks like it's growing tennis balls about 30 miles outside of town? (Tree of Utah)

When do they race on the famous Bonneville Salt Flats?
There are actually three different events with the first in August, there is one September and another in October. The most popular is the SCTA Speed Week held this year in August.  More info on Bonneville.

How Do I Get To Wendover?
Wendover is located 90 minutes west of the Salt Lake City International Airport on Interstate 80 (I-80). From most Wasatch Front locales the drive is two hours. The route is a completely four-lane divided highway with a 75mph/120kph speed limit.
CAUTION: West Wendover, Nevada and Wendover, Utah both have aggressive police departments that depend on traffic ticket revenue for their livelihood. They operate radar traps frequently on Wendover Boulevard to enforce the slow 35 mph speed limit in town. Motorcyclists should be aware that Nevada has a helmet law, while Utah does not. For cyclists, the best tactic is to use the first I-80 exit after the Point of Entry and then pull into the Wendover Nugget parking lot. You'll be completely in Utah until you are on our private property.
