Mauricio Cuellar joined the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino team in September, 2005. As General Manager, his responsibilities include the oversight of all operations and capital expenditures.
Prior to joining the company, Mauricio worked in various capacities for the Mandalay Resort Group. He served as General Manager for the Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino in Henderson, Nevada for two years, and more recently was the Director of Casino Operations at the Monte Carlo Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada for four years.
Mauricio attended Imperial Valley College in Imperial, California and UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada where he studied business. He attended UNLV on a baseball scholarship.
Buddy LaCombe joined the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino team in December, 2002. As Director of Casino Operations, his responsibilities include the oversight of the table games pit, poker, keno, surveillance and security operations.
Prior to joining the company, Buddy served as a Casino Shift Manager at both the Silver Smith Casino and Peppermill properties in Wendover, Nevada. He has a 20 year history working in the Wendover market. His family has deep ties to the community and has been of great public service.
David Serafini joined the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino team in July, 2005. As the Director of Slot Operations, his responsibilities include the oversight of the slot floor, drop team and player’s club database.
Prior to joining the company, David worked in various capacities for the Mandalay Resort Group. Most recently, he was the Director of Slot Operations at the Edgewater Hotel and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. During his Mandalay Resort Group tenure, David worked in four different state jurisdictions.
David attended Waynesburg College in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania where he studied finance and marketing. He earned certificates in Slot Operations Management from UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mary Lee joined the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino team in February, 2009. As Controller, her responsibilities include the oversight of accounting and human resource operations. Mary also manages all audit and regulatory functions.
Prior to joining the company, Mary worked as the Accounting Manager at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. She also served as the Controller for the Rainbow Hotel and Casino in West Wendover, Nevada for 11 years. Mary has over 30 years of accounting experience, half of which has been in the hotel and gaming industry.
Mary graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Jacque Baratcart joined the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino team in December, 2002. As Food and Beverage Director, his responsibilities include the oversight of all dining areas and bars. He also manages all banquet/retail facilities and purchasing.
Prior to joining the company, Jacque worked for the Mandalay Resort Group. Most recently, he was the Buffet Manager at the Monte Carlo Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jacque has over 25 years of food and beverage experience in various capacities.
Dawn MacCallum joined the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino team in December, 2002. As Director of Hotel Operations, her responsibilities include the oversight of all hotel, r.v. park and internal maintenance operations.
Prior to joining the company, Dawn worked in various accounting positions at the Pahrump Nugget Hotel and Gambling Hall in Pahrump, Nevada and Holland Community Hospital in Holland, Michigan.
Dawn attended Yuba Community College in Marysville, California.
Kim Mendenhall joined the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino team in November, 2005. As Director of Marketing, her responsibilities include the oversight of all marketing and promotion operations. Kim also manages group sales and the bus program operations.
Prior to joining the company, Kim worked in marketing and design for various companies. Most recently, she served as Marketing Manager for Sof’Solutions in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has over 18 years experience in the advertising industry.
Kim earned a degree in design and advertising from SLCC in Salt Lake City, Utah. She also attended the U of U in Salt Lake City, Utah where she studied marketing.
Evan Grimsdell joined the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino team in January, 2004. As Chief Engineer, his responsibilities include the oversight of all property repair and maintenance. Evan also manages capital improvement projects and the trailer park.
Prior to joining the company, Evan worked as an iron worker for 25 years. Most recently, he worked at Okland Construction in Salt Lake City, Utah for 7 years.
Mark Noeltner joined the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino in July, 2004. As the Information Technology Director, his responsibilities include the oversight of all computer network and data infrastructure.
Prior to joining the company, Mark worked as a Network Administrator for various companies. Most recently, Mark worked at Streigel Knobloch & Co. in Bloomington, Illinois.
Mark has a number of industry certifications, including a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification, and a Novell CNE Certification. He has over 20 years experience in the computer technology industry.
Pablo Salas joined the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino team in August, 2007. As Cage Director, his responsibilities include the oversight of all cashier and redemption center operations.
Prior to joining the company, Pablo worked in various capacities in the hospitality industry. He has over 8 years experience. Most recently, he worked in the slots department for the Peppermill Properties in Wendover, Nevada.
Natalie Montano joined the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino team in April, 2004. As Casino Host, her responsibilities include the oversight of casino promotions and player development.
Prior to joining the company, Natalie worked in various capacities at the Las Vegas Community School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Most recently, she directed the Dollar Store in both Wendover and Elko, Nevada. She has over 16 years experience in the hospitality industry.
Celia joined the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino team in May, 2003. As Casino Host, her responsibilities include the oversight of casino promotions and player development.
Prior to joining the company, Celia worked in various positions for the Peppermill properties in Wendover, Nevada. Most recently, she served as a substitute teacher for the Wendover School District in Wendover, Nevada.
